Beach Przina

Vela Przina is located on the south side of Lumbarda. Korcula and Lumbarda are connected by regular bus lines, and the journey takes only 15 minutes. Beach Przina is well protected from the north winds, but when south winds blow there is a great risk of very high waves. It is suitable for families with small children and for the elderly. On the beach you can rent chairs and umbrellas, and has a playground for beach volleyball. Next to the beach there is a paid parking. On the beach there is a cafe bar and fast food.

Beach Pupnatska Luka

Pupnatska Luka is undoubtedly one on the most beautiful bays on the island. Located on the south side of the island, just five kilometers from the village of Pupnat. The bay can be reached by unpaved, but walkable road. The beach is pebbly with a nice entrance into the sea, and is suitable for families with small children.

Beach Vaja

Vaja beach is our favorite beach on the island of Korcula ! This is a typical Croatian pebble beach settled about 15-20 minutes walk from Racisce. You just have to follow the main road up the steep hill from the village. After you come to the end of the gravel road, continue to the right toward the beach (be careful, because this is a very steep road). Water on the beach Vaja is extremely clean and is ideal for snorkeling.

City beach in Korcula

City beach in Korcula is only 200 meters from the old town. The beach is pebbly, and there are several bars and restaurants. Given that the public beach is located near several big hotels, it is very crowded, especially during the peak season. On the beach you can find portable toilet, a small restaurant and lounge chairs.

Bay Bacva

Although the drive to the Bay Bacva is very demanding, this small pebbled bay with crystal blue sea is one of the most beautiful beaches that can be found on the island of Korcula. Beach is situated about 13 kilometers from town of Korcula. This is quite deep, narrow and well-protected bay. There is a small restaurant close to the beach.

City beach Vranac - Vela Luka

City beach Vranac was built in 1924, and in 2012 was completely renovated and upgraded. Thanks to the reconstruction of the beach, the tourist offer of Vela Luka is raised to a higher level. The beach is pebbly, and there you can rent umbrellas and deck chairs. The beach also has a coffee shop and restaurant.

The beaches on the island Badia

Island Badia is a popular destination for day trips to the island of Korcula. Badia Island belongs to the archipelago of Korcula, and is the largest of the 20 islands. Water taxi sails to Badia from the coast of Korcula. The return ticket is 20 kuna, and the trip takes 15 minutes. Island Badia was in the last century the home of the Franciscans who restored the old monastery. The beach is rocky and hidden in dense vegetation. Access to the sea is average, and is filled with white stones. On Badia you can find a nudist beach, also.

The beaches on the island Proizd

The islet Proizd is located near the entrance to Vela Luka, and it is definitely the place to go if you are located in the vicinity. Due to the exceptional quality of the sea, Proizd was declared the best Adriatic beach in 2007. Trip to the island of Proizd takes about half an hour, or by speedboat just a few minutes. The island has a small dock and a restaurant with a wide selection of Dalmatian food. Proizd is surrounded by crystal clear sea, sandy beaches and rocky coves, so if you want to escape the crowds and enjoy the crystal clear blue sea, going to Proizd is the best choice for you.
